I just bought the new InfoWars sunglasses, after alex jones lost the IP. I’ve been following the whole debacle since like 2017 so I bought them to sort of celebrate that POS losing at least a little bit. They do nothing except block the sun and make me feel slightly better in hellworld.

Apparently they use Bing for their search so that’s never going to happen

They didn’t even do that. They got Knockaround to put a DuckDuckGo logo on the side next to the Knockaround ‘K’ on the arm there. Knockaround glasses are fine. They’re polarized and uv400 rated.

I own that exact pair of glasses sans the search engine logo, 35 bucks at the gettin place.

Their search results are almost entirely AI generated articles too.

Is it because it’s just Bing or do they do something on top of that?

Also what search engine would you recommend?

They specifically downgraded Russian results for being ‘state information’ but don’t apply the same standard to western countries

A combination of Yandex if I’m looking for stuff that is suppressed in the west(and is great for piracy stuff) which is more usual than the other way round, then if I need the opposite Brave search with has its many issues but atleast isn’t based on google or Bing

Aww I feel you. I never wear sunglasses cause my eyesight without my normal glasses turns me into some kind of mole creature.

The only thing that has kept me out of Coke Bottle lens hell has been the steady improvement of high index plastics over the last 15 years or so. Really hoping my eyes stop degrading soon, because it would be rad to have options like LASIK

They cost about the same as regular prescription glasses, so depending on where you’re getting them and what your prescription is, that could be like $50-$1000 because we live in hell and the Glasses Cartel can charge whatever they want.
