IMO the Cartel aspect of the show was the weakest part
Counterpoint: Nacho
Also Kim, we didn’t have much idea what happened to her or where she was.
i would die for nacho
Agreed on all points tbh
Also didn’t make sense that Saul was so shook by amateur ass early BB Walt/Jesse when he’d survived super intense run ins with the cartel and shit
also the last season basically just felt like the writers scolding people for daring to have fun with the funny mischievous and clever protagonists they wrote. Oooh no people are sympathizing with a drug dealer or a corrupt lawyer, better have multiple monologues about how crime is actually very bad and hurts people just so it is clear that you shouldn’t like the likeable and sympathetic characters we wrote that way for years prior. Thought those objectively funny crimes we wrote were funny? well you should actual feel guilty for laughing, you’re the problem. And we’ll do it in black and white and have people cry a lot because this is very serious now. crime is bad understand?
TLDR: lmao Howard took another L get rekt
i was so frustrated that kim gave up on her dream for helping underprivileged people get access to proper legal representation bc “we’re such bad ppl together jimmy”
8.5/10 would be something really excellent, if it’s simply good that’s more like 7 or 7.5
At times, BCS is excellent
I think it’s an 8.5/10 show with 7 or 7.5 writing (as pointed out by this meme)
I agree. I liked the characters a lot and found them really interesting but the story itself had some pretty big issues.
slipping jimmy cartoon >>>>>>>>>
Counterpoint: The Gene plot was awesome. The last episode was super cool, he was the coolest guy in all of prison.
