You should print 28 boxes of 3-part forms on a dot matrix printer. Then decollate the bottom page and trim the right edge off of all of them.
You will certainly not regret printing/decollating/trimming 28 boxes of 3-part forms every month for ten years.
Just think of all the fun stuff you can do with the paper ribbons you tear off! That absolutely makes up for any and all pain and suffering endured in the process!
That’s the peak model too
For carbon copy paper, of course. Inkjets don’t work for that.
For reliability, of course. I can always whip out my OKI, whenever the other printers has issues. 100% of the time it works every time.
I used to work in tech support in the 90s. No, dot matrix printers do not have some magical reliability aura. Despite almost all our printers being dot matrix, printer issues still accounted for ~60% of the trouble tickets.
