      I’m not OP, but bags around here are only effective against small critters like flies and wasps.

      For bigger critters like that, a cage around the fruit or dome for the tree is the only thing that is able to prevent their access. They are quite clever

      They were sold as fruit bags. This was the second year using them and they are holding up

        I’ve been using wedding gift bags, they look the same but have ribbons to tie them. Pretty cheap from the discount store and I’m on my third year this year with them.
