This reminds me of the time when Google dropped “Don’t be evil” motto from their corporate code of conduct and all the Google employees had sudden awakening… I don’t believe well educated people are that naive, it’s just easier to pretent you are the good guy.
“I’ll change it from the inside! Surely no one like me has tried this and failed” every single one of them thinks while challenging and changing nothing.
