      I switched to Fedora KDE Plasma or whatever it’s called because I was so sick of Windows. It… literally does look better, lol.

      Surprisingly it works pretty well too. It’s not at all like the old days when I last ‘tried’ it.

      Ain’t ever going back. Literally no reason to do so.

        Definitely worse.

        At least because they fucked over 11 for all the wrong reasons, whereas Vista was a clusterfuck because they were attempting to move past a bunch of legacy junk like the old driver stack.

    Hasn’t windows always run better with those disabled. I remember turning off a bunch of that stuff in XP.

      Everything runs better without that stuff, even games.

      It really only comes down to: can a human perceive a performance difference?

      Animations off in a UI basically always results in: “yes”
