A comic in four panels:
Panel 1. An old woman is has the treasure and leave the scene after counting the gold. In the background, a small, cozy house in the middle of the forest with a sign reading “For Sale”. The Adventurer and Pink Fairy are standing next to it, really excited.
Old woman: “Congratulations, the count is right, the house is yours!” Adventurer: “Finally! We’ve got a place to call home!”
Panel 2. Closer shot of the Adventurer and Pink Fairy sitting in an old looking living room, having tea. The Pink Fairy looks suspiciously at cracks on the walls and ceiling. The Adventurer is totally happy.
Pink‑Fairy: “Maybe we should have checked its condition before buying it, huh?” Adventurer: “Nah, just a few renovations and it’ll be as good as new, I promise!”
Panel 3. Closer shot of the Pink Fairy, a bit nervous and skeptical. Her cup of tea is shaking, spilling a bit.
Pink Fairy: “But it’s moving a bit, isn’t it? Doesn’t that worry you at all?”
Panel 4. Reveal shot outside: the house is walking through the forest on giant chicken legs. The Adventurer’s speech bubble comes from the window.
Adventurer (off panel, inside the house): “Just like any old house! Come on, let’s try to get some rest.”

I am in LUV with this style 😍
Go check out the main Pepper & Carrot webcomic. An insane amount of detail.
Thnx! I will
This feels like a selling point.
Man, there was a guy who tried this with a mechanical house and it didn’t work out for him so well. I watched a documentary on it. But chicken legs? Now that’s good home defense, shit will fuck up burglars.
Bruh that’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
Has this comic never seen Howl’s Moving Castle? Looks like an origin story aha
The origin of this is Baba Yaga’s (it’s a witch) chicken-leg hut from Slavic fairytales. It even has voice control commands (“turn the back to the forest, and the front to me”)
Baba Yaga also had a novelty flyingmachinebutterchurn, and she used her broom as an oar while sitting in it (but broom on it’s own also worked sometimes)
