Eat less sugar. What you are experiencing isn’t true energy, it’s the immediate boost sugar gives you. It’s a high your body has become addicted to.
If you cut back on the amount of sugar, your body will adapt to the lower energy levels coming from burning fats. It’s lower overall, but it’s much more constant without the high highs and low lows. You’ll feel much much better.
I would recommend looking into the cycles your body goes through. When you kick your body into a sugar burning cycle, it’s rough to transition back to fat burning. It feels like you have no energy and are hungry for snacks. It’s better to stay in the fat burning cycle for a longer time.
This is why I’ve personally had good success with intermittent fasting or something like one meal a day. I eat normally in the evening and can even have a snack after. During the night my body goes from burning sugar to burning fat, then the next day it’s burning fat all day. A zero sugars diet wasn’t for me, but other people have had good luck with it.
Just do some research and figure out what works for you, everybody is unique.
Damn… this explains a lot… I even remember how good I felt when cutting sugar and knowing that its an issue.
But either I reremember and will forget to repeat the mistake, or got added good knowledge to help understand how my concentration works (which fluctuates between depressed and tired the entire day, medium good and then I have days where I literally had fun and could easily understand a hard topic at learning for the University)
Seriously though. we need to check our internal clocks, i feel like a good chunk of us are set to the wrong timezone (me included).

Ya might find you are dehydrated, post meal tiredness could be water moving from blood to gut and leaving your brain a bit dry
We usually wake up pretty dry too so maybe worth trying some more water

This graph should be cyclical, so how come that it ends with low tiredness but starts with a near-max level of tiredness?
Yes.
But can confirm, this fits me exactly (maybe with a lesser hit for lunch and the exact bedtime being when the tiredness is still low).It only shows day not night

Thats why I don’t eat anymore for breakfast and I keep it to sandwich on lunch. And it the even I go crazy with diner and snacks because then I can be all sleepy I want :D
Also, no caffeine for breakfast. It causes the afternoon crash to come extra hard. To mitigate it even more, have your lunch extra light (small portion, easy to digest)
Hmm, are you not the most sleepy when you’re asleep? I’d expect a high plateau during bedtime.
Tiredness =/= Sleepiness
The thing is, they are probably not asleep during supposed bedtime, maybe even the opposite – feel very fresh and active.
