    There it is. Another woman who doesn’t understand there are physiological reasons men sit the way they do, yes for comfort.

    Being uncomfortable is not a requirement for using public transport.

    I think the solution is Australia need more public transport so they can work on their manners

      Pee and poop and other bodily emissions, vaping, drunk or drugged, sadly mentally unwell and kids doing stupid shit are way higher on my list.

      And beyond those, my main concern is keeping MY cool and not reacting or doing anything that gets me in trouble.

    These are definitely common problems in public transport. On Bourke Street you might fight your way into a tram and stand pressed up against the door, only to see a huge uninhabited space a short way down the aisle that no-one is using. Crowd dynamics are weird.
