Kinda sad that they ban AI art but they don’t seem to ban AI code…

Problem is that currently, it is a tool that exhibits the worst parts of capitalism. It takes jobs, destroys the environment, makes everything more soulless and unpleasant, is used for the military, is trained on stolen works, and much more…

In a post-capitalism world, maybe it could be great, but currently it is one of the worse symptoms of capitalism. It needs to be stopped until we can make good use of it without harming people, which will never happen while we are still in a capitalist system

Agreed, even if I have a bit of a beef with upscaler in gaming like DLSS, and I’m talking of DLSS before the new disastrous one, because I feel like studios use that tech to avoid optimizing their games

And true, I did not really check which instance each community was in, but I did know it was possible to browse communities of other instances, I chose piefed.zip because it did not seem to block (or “defederalize” I think some say?) other instances, I want to be able to choose myself what I block
