When SELinux is set-up wonderfully, it is certainly great! That part, well that is the pain in the ass. When I was daily driving openSUSE Tumbleweed, the selinux-gaming package made it so much easier to set sane permissions by default without much faffing around. Only a few times did I have to touch all files and do some other terminal command nonsense to fix SELinux during that period of use, now it’s not a problem anymore since I am on Garuda Linux.

Knowing what I do now, if I every switched back to a distro that utilized SELinux, I’d take more time to carefully learn how to fully set it up!

Oh, Fedora updates have been known to break stuff occasionally and that honestly blows! I do hope you’ll be able to figure it all out in the end because that seems like this is going to cause you a terrible troubleshooter headache. As the issue seems so arbitrary yet it is a major issue, at least the SMART data itself is fine but…Damn that is a crazy issue to have to diagnose.

I did at one point, its pretty much like a novel flavor of Linux distro with a very fast package manager. The repos were decent, but, not bountiful with software…So I eventually went with Garuda Linux.

Solus, in my experience was a good daily driver, never had any meaningful issues running it. Fairly solid Linux distribution. The rolling updates didn’t ever break anything serious for me, but, I did have to do one or two manual interventions on my configs.

I generally find O’Reilly and No Starch Press books about Linux to be really useful! It’s a perfect way to learn the fundamentals, personally I haven’t gone too deep into computers yet. As that is going to happen when I learn more about C programming as it will be important then! Right now, I don’t have to go too deep into computers, as I am learning more about Python. So my Linux learning tends to relate on how you manipulate the system via terminal and fix weird ass problems that can happen sometimes!

LOL Rawdogging Linux is INSANE; I did it through a bit of a cycle of reading, using my system, learning more. I still broke my systems but the fun part: I had a second HDD so all of my important bits were safe typically. I distro-hopped for years, mostly moving between openSUSE (older version and Tumbleweed), Ubuntu (started when it was 16.04), Fedora, Mint, Debian, Bazzite, Aurora, tried Artix briefly (the community is lacking). Finally settled on Garuda Linux, btw! Found something that suits my needs and I have enough knowledge that I haven’t broken my system once…Heh, good times!

You honestly have to go to the specific gay related communities in order to get positive results from male content. The gay and bi thirst is IMMENSE.

That feels like a very clear read to me as well, they were woefully unprepared to design a compelling linear game. I wouldn’t call making linear games easy, because they can get just as repetitive as an open world title faster. So many careful decisions are required to make a linear game come alive, fun, well timed diversions…Thematic cohesion that breathes live into the world and makes it feel lived in. Also, it shouldn’t have been too difficult to not insult the gamer’s intelligence with all the markers and guidance, the weird and unjustified breakable placement. The “hidden” chests is so crazy, like it wasn’t even that difficult to find some of them. Even the Logan that they crafted, felt incredibly wrong as he was more of an asshole with a heart of gold. The under utilization of cool characters like Mystique just screams mistake to me. The initial impression I got from watching this review is: Insomniac thought they could make an uninspired, borderline slop game and have their praises sung.

Insomniac better pay for this incredible misstep, they better get fuck all in terms of sales, and low ass ratings. Critically torn the fuck apart for the right reasons (not stupid culture war bullshit from stupid hate mongering tourists in gaming spaces).

Honestly, that feels like a shame…Those Insomniac bubs dropped the ball BIG time with this game. It’s going to be the best example of what not to do in game design for years to come. How cute, cursed, and fun. If they were going to make a watered down and dismal game, they should’ve just let Ubisoft handle it and take more hits to their already harmed reputation.

Just by reading this post, I would probably avoid your community like the plague. As bringing that mentality into the Fediverse is very cursed indeed. You should stay on mainstream and shitty social media in that case, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make money there.
