I’ve never used Fedora. I guess it can be a good learning opportunity but that also means I can’t provide fast solutions based on my experience. I’ll look into it though.

I live with them, so I can always provide tech support, though I believe they possess the ability to problem-solve themselves too (if they try). I can try to get multiple DEs on it, but from my experience multiple DEs often pull in their own software and the application launcher starts to get overwhelming.
I’m aware I will be bugged, just hopefully not as much. KDE is not a must, I just have a general good time using the DE, and I believe they would like it too. My main worries about replacing the DE myself is that the integration will not be as great and there can be more annoying stuff coming out of that.

That’s how I cope lol

Man I regret using Synapse. All the other home server software sounds so cool and there’s no good way to migrate to them yet.

It’s a piece of music featured in surviv.io, a browser 2D battle royale that has a tragic story of being acquired by a stupid company who ran it to the ground.
Occasionally a Desert Rain Map rotation would happen, and this track is played on loops in a saloon, which there is only one. The relaxing vibes contrast so much with the battle royale.

Recently I’ve been recommended multiple videos about Linus Torvalds and a lot of the comments are joking about how he moves his mouth so little while talking to conserve energy.

+2 despite writing a good amount of my own programs (mostly open source).
I just like making stuff on my own. New technologies are cool but I don’t really care about them. It’s not like I can afford them anyway. Even if they are FOSS it takes too much work to actually swap frameworks.
Good advice actually. They likely won’t care about this and if they do, I can always change it.
