First it was a site for ppl to vent
Then a site where there was rumors they were going to steal my data
… turned out to be true
Fast forward 15yrs sketchy shit surfaces… when rumors turn out to be true (data scandal)
Like most tech - if they don’t find the right lobbyists or gov agency they will fail. IMO: Facebook gives away data to most if not all gov for surveillance initiatives.
