Also if eating Taco Bell is usually causing you diarrhea you have some underlying health issue going on.
Buddy…
You couldn’t be more wrong if you tried to be.
If someone can eat fast food and their stomach is fine, it means their gut biome is used to that shit. And if they ever ate healthy, then that would fuck their stomach up, until their gut biome gets used to healthy food.
When people say fast food fucks their stomach, telling them you can handle it is not a flex.
It just means you e normalized eating insanely unhealthy food to the point your body has adapted to it, and you desperately need help with your health
But because you’re acting the way you are, very few people would be willing to explain this to you…
My wife and I cook 90% of our own food from scratch and probably get more fiber and vegetables than most Westerners. We occasionally treat ourselves to fast food, including Taco Bell. Never once has it given either of us diarrhea.
And if you think the worst thing about Taco Bell is that it has fiber and vegetables, then you clearly don’t understand this topic. If that’s not what you meant, I have no idea how anything you just said was relevant.
You don’t believe that we cook most of our own food with a focus on whole foods and vegetables or you don’t believe that I’m able to eat Taco Bell without getting diarrhea?
Don’t waste your time on this conversation. He’s known (at least to me) for being categorically incapable of conceding even the tiniest point in a discussion. Of course he would take issue with your description of your own diet because it directly contradicts the point he’s trying to make.
People mainly get diarrhea from food contaminated due to unsafe farming, prep, or cooking practices. Fast food restaurants may be particular prone to this due to underpaid staff and buying produce and meat from the lowest bidder.
When a supplier is at fault, it can cause mutli-city outbreaks which attracts the attention of investigators. They have many times identified the souce of the contamination and the organism responsible.
That better describes what is happening in this case than “fast food is bad for you.”
I live in Europe and don’t eat unhealthily (I’m surrounded by organic farms and cook at home daily).
I’ve had Taco Bell when I visited the USA and I was absolutely fine. So was my Indian colleague I was with that trip.
My guess is it’s actually fast food diets that means Taco Bell doesn’t sit well with people. Low fibre diet of fast food and then you eat legumes plus spices? Recipe for disaster if your gut isn’t used to breaking down fibre or dealing with capsaicin.
You are weirdly argumentative about peoples personal experiences. Last guy isnt even an american (nor am i) but you take their personal anecdote as some sort of challenge.
I feel like I’m in bizzaro world with people telling me Taco Bell is filled with fiber, veggies, and spices…
It’s super salty cheap food that comes with low quality hot sauce packets.
I’m honestly worried so many people are acting like it’s a healthy alternative and that’s why people “can’t handle it”. Kids got baja blast running they their veins or something

Alright…
If you’re going to pretend to be shocked that people lie on the Internet I’m just done here

Username checks out.
Spices?!
At Taco Bell?!
And it’s really not legumes either, it’s their sawdust “meat product”.
Like, the logic youre using falls apart the second you realize fast food French fries causes even more diarrhea…
You’re operating under the assumption the people complaining about TB also habitually eat fast food burgers?
That doesn’t make any sense, the people eating fast food all the time is used to it.
You are weirdly argumentative about peoples personal experiences. Last guy isnt even an american (nor am i) but you take their personal anecdote as some sort of challenge.
This guy’s kinda famous for that. Just tag him as “unnecessarily agro” and move on.
Yes, spices at Taco Bell. The spices that flavor the food.

SALT is the only flavor.
