Imagine if the US’ forefathers were told there’d be magic lanterns that could be used to see through walls one day when they were writing the 4th Amendment. I figure a lot of our surveillance hell scape could have been avoided.

    Though, as a nation born from distrust of authority, it’s hard to imagine at any point in history Americans would have trusted congress to touch it.
