    I don’t think it’s that black-and-white. Multi-party systems have a different dynamic than two-party systems. For one, multi-party systems favour moderates, while two-party systems lead to greater polarization. It just so happens that racism and fascism are very popular and mainstream nowadays. In the other European multi-party systems where fascists entered government, it didn’t lead to a complete takeover as did happen in the Republican Party.
