    Nope. 544.000 is the number of immigrants today, not 90 years ago. Care to try again?

    Why not go back even further?

    Because it doesn’t make sense? I’m talking historically recent events that are very closely related to the current state of the world. It’s been barely 10 generations since Argentina gained its independence.

      Nothing you mentioned (other than football) is recent. If you can’t figure out why people that emigrated couple of decades ago are still there I can’t help you.

        Recent =/= historically recent.

        If you can’t figure out why people that emigrated couple of decades ago are still there I can’t help you.

        My man, someone that immigrated 90 years ago would most likely be over a 100 years old. Does it really hurt that much that over half a million spaniards chose Argentina over Spain?

          They probably move so they to celebrate World Cups real hard. They envy the passion for football Argentinians have.
