Tech workers are facing greater proletarianization sure. But the reserve army of labor for their jobs is being intentionally increased as well. I think tech unionization is a lagging effect of working conditions and becoming disillusioned by them, not about “AI”.

Doesn’t exactly make bargaining easier when the bosses think you are redundant anyway. The last few years have been pretty frustrating.
