In his first interview with an LGBTQ publication, Pastor Doug Wilson reveals that as many as 20 people in the Trump administration align with his church’s ideology.
Sadly, the US Army and USMC both have white Christian nationalist doctrine installed in them which has been there since the George W. Bush administration, featuring a spiritual readiness score and mandated Evangelist sermon attendance.
Mostly, this served to just piss off the troops and deteriorate readiness and morale. A lot of these programs were discontinued under the Obama administration. I can’t say what happened under Mattis in Trump 1.0 but under Hegseth there’s a lot of mandated indoctrination.
And yes, it is still worsening readiness and morale.
