I’ve seen Finnish food-safety officials say that it doesn’t matter much if they’re in the fridge or not, but their temperature shouldn’t change too variably too often or something. So fridge door maybe not the best location.
Unless you leave the fridge door open for extended periods of time, they shouldn’t really heat up from just opening the door and closing it. They have some thermal mass of their own

But outside the fridge is colder than inside the fridge in Finland.
