Would a hidden body cam be okay to bring, or is it all “secret filming” that is outlawed during this highly recorded event in a televised venue?

Nothing wrong with filming, it is the secret part that is the problem.

So yes, a hidden body cam is also not welcome.

Cool. What about in public places in 1 party consent states? I am thinking specifically about recording the actions of law enforcement.

Edit - Is it, as it so often tends to be, rules for thee -not for me.

Yupp, but when we discuss pervert glasses it often boils down to people being recorded without their knowledge and consent in public. Any private venue can prohibit certain behaviors at their own discretion. What I wanted to explore was if it is the act of surreptitiously recording people that upsets us or if it was something else like what they were recording people doing, or what kind of people they were recording.

Personally, finding out you’re secretly recording me with glasses or with a hidden camera would make me equally punchy.

And violence is not a great way to respond to legal acts. Especially not when you are being recorded. Perhaps try some anger management before you end up letting your emotions get the better of you and land you in the slammer?

Sometimes a night in the slammer is worth wiping someone’s face on the pavement. Annoying idiots with cameras fall in that category.

What a fucking clown opinion. As if a night is the punishment you receive ANYWHERE for assault and battery. Tell me you have never been in a fight without telling me.
