By law, smart phones in Japan have to have their shutter sound being hard coded on in the settings to prevent perverts from taking upskirt shoots. I’m not sure how effective it is, but it would at least prevent the casual voyeur. Looks like meta glasses have a recording light, but there are people selling hacking services to disable it and of course it’s being advertised on Facebook Marketplace.
