    Sadly :( and even our comrades will cheer it on, they think AI is an amazing way of preserving knowledge and the costs are worth it… I am forever techno-negative after this era and seeing the response communists have to it.

      the books are the knowledge even scans would be better than an AI model. this argument is asinine and they ought to know it.

          tbf this an american industrial practise. the chinese denying the americans a monopoly is relative relief, but otherwise yeh. i’d like to go on, bear in mind though the moment we start talking about our community in the third person it creates the cracks that the enemy likes to squeeze open. just look at db0.

            I agree, that’s why I try to say comrades and not cause a split by othering people, there’s a very bad tension but that’ll be a problem under class society always so only answer is solidarity in each other’s problems, which is why I become sad when I see comrades mocking anti data center protests and struggles of people in whose communities data centers pop up.
