The only little free library I’ve seen nearby is always full of nothing but romance books, and by the looks of it, not even good ones, just dime-a-dozen “literary” porn - i.e. “bodice rippers”. I assume anything else gets taken quickly by either someone who wants to read it or someone who wants to sell it, now I’ve read your comment… and previously I thought it was just that those books are what people tend to get rid of and no one wants secondhand even for free.
