I came across The Newsroom with Jeff Daniels and Olivia Munn. HBO 2012-14.
Munn is a much better actor than the shitty roles she has had since, but the show predicted the corporate takeover of US media and the subsequent enshittification of news. Scarily accurate, and in fact was too optimistic because the current shit show is much worse than they predicted would happen and they gave the IQ of the American public far too much credit.
