I’m down to three living relatives: my father, a sister, and a brother. I can tell you the most recent photo each of those people has of me:
My father - 7th grade yearbook photo from the '90s.
My sister - When I was an usher at her wedding 15 years ago.
My brother - A selfie I posed with him for on his first day of college 18 years ago.
I’ve occasionally been caught in candids or group photos with friends since then, but it’s very rare because I usually offer to shoot the photos for everyone else. And it’s not like my family know who my friends are or how to contact them.
So, yeah, if I died tomorrow, I literally don’t think they could have a photo of me at the funeral.
