    And, of course, Taylor Farms is well networked with the current administration, so they will probably not facing any serious consequences.

      They’ll avoid criminal charges, but that’s rarely ever been the primary consequences for fordborne illness. Usually agriculture businesses and food chains suffer from lawsuits. And that legal infrastructure is still humming.

      The president was unable to prevent the courts from making him pay his own victims. He can’t save Taylor Farms from being sued into the ground over this outbreak.

        Yes, they did. Seeing this style of government on one side, and the still upheld illusion that the US is a “democracy” and “republic” is difficult to rationalize.
