I didn’t expect to grow up and find that war crime is borderline normalized. In like every fucking war. I thought that it was something out of the ordinary when I was young. And people who committed them were brought to justice.
But trolololol NOPE.
War criminals do get brought to justice. But it requires that their opponents fight until the war is totally won, which is not something that is often done. Most wars end in a negotiated truce. Wars like WW2 where it doesn’t stop until one side surrenders unconditionally and completely submits to occupation by the other? That’s less common. It happens, but not often. But when it does? Yeah, that’s when you get Nuremberg trials.

Do Ukraine hunt civilians? I haven’t heard anything to that effect. In fact everything I have heard about Ukrainian strategy and logistics suggests to me that they’d consider that to be a waste of a drone. And Ukraine aren’t doing so well in this war that they’d consider themselves at liberty to waste precious drones on killing random individual Russian civilians.

People should see what real war looks like. They should see it with as much warning as the victims had.
The man actually survived. He suffered blast wounds, shrapnel wounds and a concussion, but seems to be otherwise fine. I don’t even see any disfigurement:

Correction - Ukraine is fighting against Russia and it’s allies, which is Iran. Even people who are against Israel fully understand that Iran is just… bad. There is no defending it, just like Israel.
EDIT: I’m not sure if this needs to be said, but I’m talking about governments, not the people. Iranians themselves tend to be quite cool and aren’t all that fond of their government.

Forgive the dumb question but how do you know what country a given drone is affiliated with?

Well, what are the alternatives? Are you suggesting that Ukraine targets its own civilians with drones? Or are you suggesting that, say, Turkiye is sending drones into Ukraine to target Ukrainian civilians?
How does Ukraine know?
The debris from the drone can be inspected and the type of drone can probably be identified. Different countries use different drones.
Why do you ask?
