    Must be frustrating. I’ve been following him since he was making tutorials using alchemy and mypaint around 2010, so I’ve seen his style coalesce. I can understand the commenters’ suspicion, it just kinda sucks that some of the most common AI styles landed so close to his…

      Is the yellow tint in the strip him deliberately trying to make some sort of point, or is it always like that?

        I saw comments on his Fediverse post of the comic indicating it may be that “golden sunlight” shading idea of adding warmth. It’s much flatter of an effect in generated images than in his art, I think, where sometimes it’s heavy and sometimes light and not even always present.

        I hadn’t noticed it, but the whole style is petty similar to a lot of his recent work, so I guess it’s not a deliberate point.
