Well, the Jeff Geerling stuff is disappointing. I watched him only occasionally when some video title interested me, but I don’t think I can watch the videos (and so indirectly support him) in good conscience.
The fact he didn’t apologise is telling, especially in the context of his replies:

The idea of one-upping someone online, ratioing someone’s post, or getting quick wins through rage-bait is antithetical to what builds a just, loving, and charitable society. I see it tear apart many online communities. The only winning move is not to play.
This is a pretty old article on the site, and I’m guessing by the title (haven’t read through it) it would not be deemed ‘culturally appropriate’ these days.

The fact that he’s never repudiated this shit, and apologized for the harm he did, makes you heavily believe that he suppressed this stuff for his own financial and business interests, not because of an earnest change of heart.
I was never a Geerling guy, I watched a video or two at random just because I liked the Raspberry Pi before the pricing on it went loony toons, but Geerling now has the auspicious place of being a channel I actively go out of my way to avoid.
A lot of his posts have been pulled from his blog so he at least doesn’t want people to know his thoughts anymore, but he’s never apologized.
He is a devout Catholic so assuming he has church aligned takes isn’t a bad call.
