Last time I stayed at an Airbnb, all their pots were nonstick and scratched to shit. I made pasta a couple of times in the tea kettle. I try to avoid nonstick in general, but when being used communally, there is no fucking way I can trust that people have treated it right, and as much as my body craves Teflon as a fuel source, I will do everything in my power to avoid it, including cooking in a tea kettle.
