I am really hoping AOC comes back from whatever carrot lured her away. She’s been off for a few years. Mama Bear Pelosi seemed to affect her a bit. AOC has the potential to be a Mamdani at the national level if she can somehow buck the DC rhetoric.
She’s been playing the rigged game of D.C. with what appear to be honest and good intentions.
She also has a team of staffers that seem well embedded into the D.C. way of doing things.
I think if she bucked some of the more establishment advisors and got some people more capable with social media and streaming she’d fly.
I think she’s waiting for more Mamdanis and El-Sayeds. Which again, I think is that D.C. mindset of only acting on a sure-thing or a done-deal.
Yeah. If she just embraced it based on their success, she’d ensure a seat at the table. I think she’s worried that now she’s made her name, the geezers will put her back at the kids table again.
Strike while the iron’s hot, AOC. We could use your name recognition and that original chutzpah that got you elected in the first place.
There’s no way I’d vote for Gavin Newsom. AOC would be just left enough to get my vote.
