History started in 2022
I remember when I was 6 years old and knew nothing about the world. A family member explained the basic premise of the Korean War to me, and I sided with North Korea immediately. They chided me about how I don’t really know much about it and that the government is oppressive. I wasn’t having it. I insisted, as a 6 year old, that it was wrong to go across the world to beat someone up. Still kinda proud about that. What I’m saying is, you in fact don’t have to know anything about the world to come to a correct conclusion, just basic empathy and reasoning can result in a correct opinion. Liberals reject this idea in the pursuit of “making tough decisions” and “prosperity”.
yeah, the first time my parents explained communism to me, i just blinked and asked why we’re not doing that then. they laughed and said my grandma would love to hear this take from me.
Sometimes I feel that talking to liberals is genuinely like talking to children who understand nothing. They give you the same blank ass stares too.
To them, history and world events are just people walking into rooms and saying things.
Imagine trying to interpret the “base vs. superstructure” understanding of society, except completely ignoring that the base even exists in the first place. Like, it doesn’t even occur to them.
Children are easier to talk to because they aren’t dogmatic and are generally more excited to learn things. Liberals disdain learning new things.
An even worse trait of modern liberals is their cynicism - an active dismissal of any coherent framework for politics or history
Yeah I don’t get it. We have theories for literally everything else in the world. Gravity, evolution, etc etc. But oh nooooo not for society and history, that’s not allowed.

Sorry, I use lived experience to analyze politics, not nerdy theory
Funny thing is, lived experience led me to theory.
They’re just that oblivious, either that or they’re petit bourgeois who’ve never felt the effects of exploitation.
I only have a problem with “lived experience” when people subsitute it for studying politics
Liberals very much have theories about why things happen. Marxism in a way grew out of liberalism. Marxism is just a better (meaning: more predictive) theory about society, not necessarily the first one to exist.
The problem is that liberalism is highly beneficial to capitalists so they spend a whole lot of money fabricating evidence and manufacturing consensus that liberal theories are “more correct” than e.g. marxist theories. When that doesn’t work out they either coup or bomb their opponents.
The academic apogee of this is the famous “end of history” bullshit, claiming that liberalism is the correct model of society and no better theory can be formulated at all (which literally never happens in science).
As this is becoming more and more obviously wrong (due to the heightening contradictions inherent to liberalism), liberals are sure to either abandon the scientific approach altogether (become right-wing chuds) or embrace the better, more predictive theories about society (become marxists or adjacent).
bad things happen because people have bad ideas, and if we get them to have good ideas than good things will happen
And by “get them to have good ideas” they mean invade their country or at least coup their government.
people can only have good ideas when free markets or whatever
But what if politicians (that are always 100% bad and self-serving) support good ideas in public, but then get into power and implement bad ideas?
That is why you must elect a WASP because lying isn’t something white Christians do.
I remember having some general concept of power and money corrupting, and people in power furthering their own interests when I was a liberal. “Corruption” is this weird word that they use to cover up the system being inherently opposed to the working class by making it seem like it’s just a few bad apples doing it. So you go on just thinking that if you can only get a good apple in power then good things can happen because it’s the people who have been corrupted, not the system.
conversations with liberals about corruption is basically always “government will always be corrupt, so we should get rid of the government and give the corruptors everything they want directly” like ok buddy real genius shit
When talking about the concept of conspiracy theories Micheal Parenti spoke about how many people subscribe to “coincidence theories” — Things just happen, elites don’t meet up and talk to eachother, etc.
Just blame it on the russians
Just make shit up
Just talk real fastI like how the only context clue that this is a leftist meme (vs a right wing chud hating on liberals) is the word “theory”, but that’s fully enough to know with absolute certainty OOP is leftist
They mostly just blame everything bad on the conservatives and accept that the liberals, while flawed, are doing their best.
When they learn that the liberals are in fact also dogshit and committing genocide they either double down or become some sort of leftist.
