Yep! Also they never fly in a bulkhead seat. Ducks and Geese really value the normal tray table setup and it can be a risk in row 1.
Think of the perspective you’d have to take to make this work in a regular row…
And, it seems, aren’t able to fly east/west, hence the plane trip.
Geese have ancestral routes; probably a good choice to take the plane for completely novel journeys.
Sometimes it’s nice to let someone else do the work.
