I’m not sure I remember running across any of their posts more than a couple of times, but their post history doesn’t seem to intersect with unpopular opinion communities very much. (At least not as far back as I’ve scrolled.)

Most of his comments have a lot of downvotes (usually only the ones that contain a thorn), and he doesn’t really post anything controversial beyond Þe orthography. This indicates that hating his Þ comments is popular, and Þus liking them unpopular.

I think they are saying that the popular opinion on lemmy is to not like sxan. But they do like sxan. So their positive opinion of them is unpopular.
