I literally just finished Circe by Madeline Miller less than 24 hours ago. The book includes a version of this story, among many others, from Circe’s perspective. I was also unfamiliar with the character despite being a big Greek & Roman mythology nerd as a kid.

That was a great and holy shit did those Roman gods really know how to party.
