Having watched my dog spin around for minutes before abandoning the moment, what can I do to encourage the flow state? I’m thinking of maybe bringing a tibetan singing bowl on our walks.

Have you tried taking your dog to someone else’s property? Works wonders around here it would seem.

A minimum of two baggies is necessary for my dog. She follows a divide and conquer approach when tackling her business.

Wouldn’t want to lead a predator to his den. You’ve got keep that stuff far from home so the concentration and smell doesn’t attract unwanted interest.

My dog will walk for hundreds of feet in the “poop walk” (head down, slow pace) before poop actually starts… If it ever does.

I joked to someone that we could be in a town that’s a few miles away (in the general direction we were going) before he actually decides to poop.
