I drove on a beach once. It was fine. Easy going. Beautiful. Exhilarating. Until, abruptly, the tires sunk in and it wasn’t. Once they sink in, even just a little bit, it is extremely difficult to get out. It was one of the stupider things I have ever done. I’ve never done it again.

Oh I know how difficult sand can be. Especially for people unfamiliar with it. Any sudden acceleration, braking, or turning and you can bury your vehicle. Takes a lot of finesse. That sand looks fairly consistent though, and based on other comments is frequently driven on. So as long as the water doesn’t come up that far it should be well packed and easy to drive on.
