Stability control is great (especially for emergency situations)—traction control, on the other hand, just gets in the way of burnouts and powerslides—especially in newer cars where they’re combined into one setting and can’t be fully turned off. In my Z, “TCS off” and “VSC off” (stability) on the dash actually mean that.
