I wouldn’t call WSL service, Linux environment integrated into Windows is more accurate. With WSL 2, Linux actually runs using a lightweight virtual machine with a real Linux kernel, while still being tightly integrated with Windows. It’s a proper Ubuntu (or whatever you want really) installation that you can run a production server off of.
