As Deadline reported, Hurst, who had been originally set as Kratos in the adaptation of the popular PlayStation video game, tore a bicep while performing a stunt in late June, four months into the shoot.
Fuck man, Opie would have killed it in this…
He’s an amazing actor and has just enough size to be believable. Like, he’s not a juiced up action hero (neither is Bautista now) but Hurst was just a big dude with an intimidating presence. He’s got the “farm strong” look that Kratos needed.
Bautista lost a lot of weight for his health and to expand roles, so I don’t know how he’ll do in this.
I feel like he can pull this off. Hopefully. We’ll see.
We’ll see.
Probably not.

He’ll be alright.
It’s just Hurst seems to have terrible luck, his last show might have been decent but it got cancelled within like a week.
Bicep tears aren’t bad at least, it just means he loses this role and the time he sunk into it.
Bicep tears aren’t bad at least
Depends on the kind of tear. Muscle tears will more or less heal as long as you leave them alone for a while. But sounds like he may have torn a biceps tendon, seeing as how he’s needing surgery. Those are a lot harder to recover from, especially since tendons get much less bloodflow than muscles.
I think they should have just waited for Ryan to recover he was a much better choice.
Why are they so determined to cast a character that’s only ever been voiced by black men as white?
Edit: The quantity of down votes I’m getting is fascinating. I’m disappointed no one wants to make an argument for them though.
You have to remember that the internet now hates black people so much that they’re pretending to like Troy.
