I think that if we want to be free from google and apple duopoly on mobile we need to embrace linux phones. It is the only solution. Google is trying to close the golden cage slowly and we need to escape on other operating system also on mobile. We re only delay a problem. We need phone preinstalled with linux for mass adoption. We need more apps for linux phones and more userbase.

    I’m open to it if an MFA solution exists. I am reliant on MS Authenticator for work. Outside of that, I use Bitwarden for MFA and passwords. Unfortunately, my client can eat me for lunch and don’t need me to survive, despite the inverse.

      keyguard exist on linux mobile, also secrets from gnome for keepass database for password manager. authenticator from gnome is mobile friendly also

        If they are reliant on MS Authenticator for work, it probably means they use MS365 with notification authentication active. GNOME Authenticator, Secrets, and Keyguard might not cut it for them.
