This argument is exactly why I think we should use the Mode when discussing the state of an economy or even a sector of the economy. The mode would represent the actual conditions that the majority of people experience and throws extremes out altogether.
It does seem like 1 white billionaire living in Massachusetts might account for a good bit of this disparity.
