One day i was at a gas station and some ridiculously bug truck just oeeled out. They are not very common here at all thankfully. He put the pedal ro the floor and made a ridiculous noise. I never quite know what they think this looks like for bystanders, so my first impulse was to piont and laugh. There was a roundabout near by and a few seconds later i heard that noise again. He came back and followed me into the gas station and asked me what’s so funny. I was so confused about that level of insecurity or whatever you wanna call that. I shrugged and said i thought that’s obvious. I thought he gained some self awareness and walked off, prdal to the floor again. I wasn’t outside to point and laugh again, but it would’ve been funny.
