From the look of it, somewhat-leftist Hasan is telling them “hey maybe you shouldn’t be such staunch zionists, that might go badly for you” and they’re like “gasp how dare you insinuate that being a rabid zionist could lead to anything but peace and prosperity!” Instead of going “hmm maybe he has a point, there are a lot of people who are pissed off at zionists for committing genocide on an actively ongoing basis, or, if they are geographically distant from it, offering ideological support to zionism and the israel colonization/occupation project”.
