For decades, Idaho laws have allowed parents who belong to the Followers of Christ and other faith-healing sects to pray rather than seek medical care. Since 2015, at least 15 children have died of treatable conditions.
That poor child. What a long, painful death just because their parents couldn’t be bothered to not be pieces of shits. You can choose whatever you want for yourself, but when you have another life dependent on you then you have to do whatever is necessary to limit their suffering.
When I was a child my mother told me that I had no rights as a human being except the ones she decided I should have until I was a legal adult and could move out of her house.
