    Mosin-Nagants are heavy, kick hard, and their triggers are rough, squeaky, and loose.

    Its really common to replace the stock with a lightweight stock, replace the trigger mechanism with something that pulls smoothly, install a scope mount and scope since the gun was invented before long range scopes were common/standard for rifles, and add a compensator to the barrel to mitigate the strong kickback from shooting it.
