    Yep, it’s kind of a racket. The license popup is there to let people know that, hey, technically you have to buy this… but they don’t care if Joe Blow buys it, it’s free for you, you single-serve mother fucker. A company, though? A company has to buy a copy for every user, and that adds up.

      It also acts as a training system so that workers are more familiar with it already, when they have to use to at work. It adds value to their product that everyone is familiar with it already so companies don’t have to train them to use it.
