I think the best you can do is preface it with acknowledging wealth inequality is still obviously a thing, some people clearly are really and truly in a tight spot, but some aren’t doing themselves any favors (while also acknowledging it’s sometimes the bleak conditions themselves that feed that behavior).
But yeah, that’s a lot of prefacing to do every time and ultimately some people just aren’t going to view things in a nuanced way… whaddayagonnado, I guess.
