Do you have Íslenska keys installed on your keyboard? Do you have “th” autocorrected, somehow, to ‘þ’? Or do you swap keyboards to purposefully use ‘þ’, instead of “th”? As I have just done.
I do not! All I did was turn on “extra keys” in my phone keyboard. On my desktop, Thorn was already in an XCompose I stole from someone a decade or two ago.
